Rochdale Recovery Communities (RRC) is a coalition of local organisations dedicated to supporting individuals in active substance use and recovery. United by a shared mission, RRC aims to end the stigma surrounding addiction, amplify the voices of those with lived experience, and create a visible recovery community that fosters connection and understanding.

High Level (Northern) Trust
High Level is a safe space for anyone in recovery from any form of addictive behaviour. We also support family and friends who may be worried about the drug and alcohol use of others.
Staff at High Level support people in their recovery. We have staff who are trained counsellors who can work on things such as past issues, current problems and provide support for people to live a life addiction free. There are groups that meet at High Level that can be beneficial in bringing people together for personal development and also to support one another.
We also provide a range of holistic treatments to help with sleep and relaxation. Advice and guidance is also available on a range of issues.

Angie's Angels First Things First project.
This is a peer led project for those who are in Recovery from substance abuse. A safe space for people to come together have fun and socialise. In a safe environment. Facilitating out of hours services groups and support.

Theatre In Flow
Theatre In Flow is a cultural organisation based in Rochdale. We make creative work, tell stories, run programmes and deliver training that challenges discrimination, promotes wellbeing and builds confidence. We support people in their recovery journey through group work and support to build a life free from addiction.

Turning Point
Turning Point (Roar - Rochdale and Oldham Active Recovery) offer a broad range of services for adults experiencing problematic substance misuse in the Rochdale and Oldham Locality.
This is made up of; Comprehensive Assessment, Treatment (pharmacological and recognised Psychological interventions) in a one to one and group setting, A range of recovery focused groups, Detox - community and residential, Rehab - community and residential and Specialist support for individuals with complex needs, individuals experiencing homelessness and those involved in the criminal justice system.

Watering Your Soul
A Journey of Healing and Empowerment
Founded by Lilly, who has first hand experience with domestic abuse, substance misuse, and the Criminal Justice system, Watering Your Soul is dedicated to supporting women facing multiple unmet needs. Having been abandoned at birth and struggled with poor mental health throughout her childhood, Lilly has turned her challenges into a powerful mission to uplift and empower others.
Lilly specialises in trauma-informed care and conducts healing trauma workshops, providing essential support and guidance to women navigating their own struggles. She is also available for motivational speaking engagements, sharing her story and insights at schools and colleges to inspire the next generation.
Her impactful work has garnered attention, allowing her to speak with The Princess of Wales about her collaboration with the One Small Thing charity and to address Parliament on issues affecting women in the justice system. Additionally, Lilly co-hosts a justice podcast, further amplifying voices advocating for change and support.

Tackling Minds
Tackling Minds is an organisation dedicated to improving mental health and wellbeing through fishing. We provide free, accessible fishing sessions designed to support individuals facing mental health challenges, addiction recovery, social isolation, and disabilities.
Our sessions offer a safe, therapeutic environment where participants can experience the proven benefits of fishing, including reduced stress, improved self-esteem, and social connection. By combining expert coaching with serene outdoor settings, Tackling Minds creates opportunities for personal growth and recovery.
Since our inception, we've partnered with NHS trusts, local councils, and community organisations to deliver innovative programs that change lives.

The Recovery Republic Community Interest Company is a Heywood-focused, support and wellbeing centre that is dedicated to supporting the local community. We were established to provide a range of support for people who are recovering from addiction, mental ill-health, and their families and friends, to live the best life possible. We operate in a wholly charitable way.
Our mission is to support our local community through our cafe and social space and one to one and groups to support wellbeing, all delivered within an atmosphere of affectionate equality. We welcome everyone who would like to either just pop in or join us for more regular or structured support.
